It’s okay!!!!!
I’ll be havin a couple of wines with Mr & Mrs Chill Hill, on the Saturday, then eating Bacon & Eggs for a few mornings with views of The Super Bank!!!!!
Scored a heap yesterday for the renos.
Picked up a 40/50’s timber crate off gumtree for a feature book shelf.
Went to some dodgy bathroom warehouse in Silverwater and picked up an excess Harvey Norman project stock vanity for $50, it had a small chip on the rear corner (rrp is around $700) a mixer for $100 rrp is around $400.
Got a ceiling fan at 30% off and a king mattress for the price of a single, $2400 down to $1300. Now I just need to build the frame for it.
Topped it off by half price Indian at our favorite restaurant.
Been on a bit of a spending spree in the past couple of days!

Special guests of Birds of Tokyo will be cool as well though.

Yeah I have to say that helped with the decision as well, as far as support acts go they should be decent and I’ve never seen them before.
(I can finally say I have wrist gaiters!)
Would never buy a Jacket that doesn’t have them!!!!!
Nice spen up to there, drc!!!!!

Thanks mate!
Yeah it was a must have feature on my list. It’s surprisingly hard to find a shell jacket, with wrist gaiters and somewhat decent ratings (this is 15k/10k so won’t be as good as my goretex but good enough)
I’d love to have the zipper pants/jacket interface as well but gave up on that I’ll DIY if I decide I really need it.
Thanks again for your wetsuit advice. Haven’t had a chance to try this one in the water yet but it sure was toasty when I tried it on. After researching all the tech I completely forgot something I really wanted on a wetsuit, an external key pocket, I’ll try to remember next time!
No wukkas!!!!!
And for ya keys, get one of these!!!!!
Best thing ever!!!!! (Just make sure ya close to a light source if ya go for a late arvo session though, as that’s the only setback)
157 Burton Vapor - Such a mission to get this board.
Rang all my local shops - nothing.
Emailed Burton for help - they gave me the name of the four shops in Aus that ordered them.
Rang all four shops - they only had the 159s and all of them bit@hed that they never sell.
Turned to the WWW - none, nowhere.
Put an alert out on ebay a few months ago - bingo! one comes up last week. From some country I’d never heard of, but beggers can’t be choosers I guess.
6 days later - brand new board on my doorstep! Didn’t even get screwed over on the EST screws!
Very cool ride, had a look at one last year at the trade show, was sweet.
Enjoy
Didn’t you just buy some other uber board recently, AJ?
Oxess is my race board (such a chore to ride btw), Vapor for everything else.
Just ordered a costume for the pond skim
