I’m going to sit this weekend out and cross everything the murmurs of favourable weather for the 1-4th comes through and I’ll head down next weekend. After that I’ll be down most weekends in August.

Best looking park so far this season judging by the v8 cam, jealous as hell!!
Yep, easily the best park so far.
Way below the standard of last year’s park though. I spoke to a few of the park regulars yesterday and they thought the same thing. It took them four days to get their act together from the weekend’s snow. Last year the rebuilds were overnight. Leichhardt Park is piss poor with nil maintenance during the day… (except closing off the one of two boxes because of the giant hole that had formed at the end of it.
There is enough snow for them to do better.
The new park leadership team gets an F from me so far. Here’s hoping they lift their game.

Yea last years 4 jump then quarter pipe line was sick, even leichardt with the 3 jump line (roller before the third) and hip around the bend was good. Hopefully they pick their act up and build up some master pieces, as charles did over at threders

I spent a majority of yesterday in the park taking photos. I really enjoyed it!
Saw someone with a boardworld hoodie, tall guy with blue/black pants. No idea who it was and they rode straight past me. I was wearing my hoodie too and thought whoever it was may have stopped and said hi!

I might be heading up this weekend with a fractured wrist (in fibreglass cast), probably wont ride park but i dont think i can take 7 weeks of just sitting at home.. any advice from anyone? im thinking if i do feel invincible and end up going in the park if i stack ill try to remember to cross my arms across my chest like riding a water slide hahhahaa
It’s in a cast your wrist is about as safe as it’s going to get. Can’t say the same for the rest of your arm though if it defers the impact there.
I wouldn’t be overly keen on getting it all sweaty inside either.
I might head down this weekend as the weather forecast is starting to shape up nicely (by this seasons standards) will keep an eye on it and make a last minute decision.

A no brainer on that one dude. Of course you should stay at home and let your wrist heal. You wouldn’t want to risk making it any worse.
(I’m typing this from my bed, after spending yesterday in hospital from my ‘oopsie’ in the Park on Saturday. No snowboarding for minimum four weeks)
