there is more than one Suck Rock? I’m thinking of Suck Rock Cronulla/Kurnell
yeah cronulla suck rock is the only one I know! (
yeah cronulla suck rock is the only one I know! (so therefore the only one that matters!) haha
my first ever surfing at a reef was at suck rock. Middle of winter in a hand-me-down springy, swimming flippers and a bodyboard with no slick. Just followed my big brother out there, happy as larry and got belted. Such a fun wave but scary when its big. Few other waves in the area that I prefer
Still to this day I reckon suck rock has the most powerful whitewater I’ve experienced - always tests your duckdiving skills!
Along with Suck Hole, Cunje, First-Second etc Reef, The Wedge…..........
There’s a few standard names that get around!!!!!

Worst hold downs out there. One of the few times I’ve thought I was gonna drown! Yeah much prefer heading round to second lefts when it’s good and kurnell point if there’s enough swell.
Or if there is a monster swell - the place in the picture no none has guessed yet!
Maybe another photo s-kid to help us out
is it The Patch?
nope - head north!
Wavin the white flag… I give up
Weird angle of Ours???????????????
