Amazing conditions, #1 Daughter reporting in with pics for us…....
wowzers
wow that is unbelievable given it was quite decent just a week ago
On the upside (for me anyway haha) the Mitta Mitta that runs of the back of Hotham and Falls is in flood
Azz what’s the overnight report????
It’s coming down up there, looks like Summit Trainer, Big D and Playground to mid station are spinning, certainly some happier faces and FB posts this morning, and hats off to the staff who got things going on top of a solid brown base. Fingers crossed that happier times are ahead.
The temp here right now is 10 degrees, a more wintery temperature than the rather pleasant but totally ridiculous 20something we had for the past few days. So it’s back to wearing the boardworld beanie and sitting in front of the fire while the flakes fall up the hill
This is why I don’t bother wasting my time boarding in australia anymore
It sounds like a bit of a wank thing to say, but it’s gettin hard not to agree with ya, mate!!!!!
Especially after ridin Japow!!!!! Ohhhh, Sweet, Sweet, Japow!!!!!
It’s just been more realistic.
You go up 5-6 times with terrible snow, half the mountain closed and 1hr lift lines.
You might as well use the money to go to New Zealand or Japan. (Just my 2c)
#1 daughter on the phone… the snow’s amazing. People still getting up with no chains, how is that even possible, can’ they read? Shakes head in amazement. Last night the wait to convoy down to Harrietville was 1.5 hours. Fitting chains to all vehicles.
This morning great snow, poor visibility up high.
Lots of people feeling much happier than they were this time last week
Things are looking up for this season! Put this shredit together over the weekend in and around falls and hotham. Lots of snow up there. Yeow!
Nice one mate! Just saw that on Facebook.
Did you guys have to build any snow up to get onto that rock ledge that you were riding at the bottom of the lift?
yeah had to build a little kicker. knocked it up in about 5 min. fortunate enough not to get told off by ski patrol… we were cruising around the village with a shovel looking for fun all day saturday. good times to be had!
nice skills, froggie!
