Hey everyone,

Anyone get insurance for their snow trips?

With the terrible weather and all the new gear i was thinking of getting some for this weekend,

Thoughts? 1cover seemed ok. $42 for the 3 days

Eh, for Australian snow, my Private Health Insurance covers the injury part. And I have a season pass which covers the price of lift tickets etc.

I don’t think I can claim my accom… so I wouldn’t bother.

Personally I think the $42 and the hassle will be worse than the amount you can get back. Since Perisher will be open either way, the insurance company will probably just say NO and keep your money anyway.

Yeah, I never worry about Insurance for trips at home either!!!!!

Private Health covers any injuries, Car Insurance some theft, and some Home & Contents Policies can cover some of ya gear too!!!!!

All depends on who ya insured with, and what insurances ya already have?????

Ohhh, and ya might wanna change the Title of the Thread to state “At Home” or “In Australia” or the like?????

eeek you don’t really have the insurance for situations where you have a choice to avoid though…

As for the question.

Nope don’t bother in oz definitely have it when abroad (and then you need to be very picky about what you’re covered for)

Orph spend the $40 on ambulance cover at least!

Anyone in Australia who rides and doesn’t even have that is just asking for trouble!

5 secs journey from the base of the quad medical centre at perisher is a $200 charge.
