Personally I’d wait until you’re going overseas. You can claim all the tax back so on a $1000 worth of camera equipment, you’ll get $100 back. That’s decent if you ask me.

I really hope they’re getting it wrong but for some reason when they forecast rain they usually get it wrong, when I say wrong I mean they underestimated the shit out of it. I hope they get it wrong wrong this time as I’ll be there 5 days again next week.
The FV park came out of nowhere. Some impressive jumps already and I’m pretty sure I spotted AJ from afar bombing the park in his BW hoodie.
Can confirm this, had a quick chat to him and he let me follow him into the 30ft for speed, the jumps on fv are sooo fun. DRC were you wearing a maroon olliepops hoodie?
AJ if you are reading I hit the 50, bailed a bunch of times just cause you are going so fast and when you are going up the lip it feels like you are being shot into space but stomped a few shiftys by the end of the day – stoked.Update:

Did you go there today? How is it??? This season hasn’t turned out so back hopefully the rain doesn’t destroy it this weekend.
Yeah I went yesterday, to be honest I was pretty disappointed, there is a pretty mellow (10-15ft) jump and a few rails.
All in all yesterday was a bloody cracker of a day, perfect weather (sunny but cold enough for the snow to stay pretty good) and hardly any wind – cant wait to get back down there!
Pretty good going mate, we looked at it but weren’t really in the mood, I still have the spectre of early last season in my mind and was enjoying myself doing other things. Will probably hit the 30 next week, no idea how I convinced myself to throw back 3’s off the 30fter first weekend of the season last year, bit too keen perhaps.

That is awesome! The last one is not for the faint-hearted. I came back to say hi in the afternoon but the shadows had come in by about 3 pm and it looked like everyone had called it a day.
Ill be down for the day tomorrow. Gonna take my hoodie but depends what the weather is doing as to if I actually wear it or my jacket.
Otherwise I have a massive boardworld on my lid.

Saw a skier at the skitube yesterday with a boardworld sticker on their helmet. No idea who it was and I was too far away to say hi.
Also saw someone in a hoodie on FV. I think it was Lachillingworth (or whatever his username is!) I was on the chair and didnt see him again after that!
took my confidence from hitting the 50 on thursday up the mt. yesterday and overshot the 50, caught an edge upon landing and got slingshotted into the snow :(
that happened at 9:00am, kept riding till 2:00 just trying 3s off the 30, got home wrist was in heaps of pain, went to hospital, turns out its fractured. fml haha in a cast and no snow for me for a while

I was in the FV park yesterday arvo filming a mate on the 50. While I was waiting, some guy must have taken off wrong all I heard was ‘oh shit’ and saw him going back first into the ground 
I had to climb the jump and grab the flags and put em in front of the jump so no one would hit it. I then saw the guy walking away with his arm in a sling. I was shocked, seriously though he would have broken his back or something
