Hey Ladnam
Yep those flights sound perfect for you.
Wants website can be a PITA!. I would speak to a TA, ask deep posder tours to match it…
DPT seems to not know about the $100 JAL fares (that i constantly about on about on this thread!)
$1500 seems highway robbery to me! I told Dylan that the other day (thats what they quoted for him! Including a $100 stopover fee cause Dylan wants to spend some time in Tokyo! I have never paid that.
If DPT wont help then speak to another agent. Make sure they are aware of the JAL fare. I have one and I am just trying to dig out their details.
Okay clearly I can’t type this morning and edit and quote buttons not working.
That was supposed to be Qantas site can be a PITA!
You can try calling Qantas direct as well for a quote.
I have just emailed my agent with Dylan’s flight details and will get back to you with how they go.
I just got off the phone with DPT and mentioned the $1050 qantas flight, and was re-quoted either $1300 or 1350 I can’t remember but that’s a fair amount of beer money saved from the original 1550.
Looks like we’re going to be in Nisoko Feb 13-27. I’m really pumped for the trip but I’m not looking forward to having to catch up on 2 weeks worth of study.

Woo hoo
Great news!!
So, I am heading to japan in December for 33 days :D cant wait. We are going to Tokyo first then heading over to Niesko….. and this is were we are stuck, what is the best (cheapest way) to get from Tokyo airport to Sapporo? the only thing we could really find was $800 flights, which seemed way to much for a 1h 30min domestic flight, and now have seen this air-pass thing. anybody know the best way to get to Sapporo?
Mate check out the Japan air pass. Cheap domestic flights only available to tourists with an international ticket.
Yep the airpass is the way to go.
But you need a Travel Agent to book it for you in conjunction with your international flight.
Thanks will head down to a travel agent. yea the air-pass seems to be the way to go.
Some have never heard of it.
Let me know if you struggle.
The airpass is 10,000 per sector (domestic flight) so depending on the exchange rate its abut $100
i didnt end up getting flights as part of my fyve package so if anyone see’s specials, please let me know
ozgirl does the pass work 24/7? cause I was reading somewhere the other day its only on certain dates…
Im personally not buying one but I thought it was worth a mention..
There are blackout dates (assuming school hols or something)
But read about the fare here.
