Looking for a change in board

Avatar

Nice board mate, did you go the HP or the normal version?  I think they have made them a little softer than the 2011 one I have so it should be fairly different to your Gnu and more playful, hope you enjoy it!

Oh and most importantly when are you going to test it out?

Will do!
Board is still on its way (courier should be in NSW by now smile)

Picked up a decent bag as yesterday, figured the new board deserves it and will need it for japan anyway. Fits everything in really nicely only downside is my massive boots dont fit in the way they are supposed to… good enough though.

Also grabbed some burton goretex gloves cause my old ones leak when the palms get wet and some burton mini scrappers for the board smile Pics to come

Annnnnd the new board came!!!

Looks awesome, digging the pointy tips and magnetraction. Even has a dude with a flower as a head! :s

Will throw by bindings on tonight smile Bindings are straight black so should match well.

Reckon i should get it hot waxed before i go i do a 2 day trip? Apparently factory wax should be fine for the short trip and then i might look into getting the gear to wax it myself when i get back so i can keep it in check.

Got one more Q for you guys, any recommendation on helmates? Never worn one before but i want to start hitting some jumps etc so i think its time. (Reading link now)

Yeh i heard good things about Sandbox helms, but just went to my local and tried a bunch on. The smith ended up being the best fit for my massive head lol. Will test with the goggles tonight. Can always swap it if they dont fit smile

Nice board mate! Pretty sure that is the one I demoed at last year’s Shred. Was good fun. Liked to charge hard. I was taking it over the FV jumps on a 153 and felt super solid
