Awesome guys, thanks for the confirmation on mycic. I’ll try my best and hopefully I’ll be approved.

I have a feeling that the first part is the main one to be knocked back from…

Haha you’d think that.. One guy I’ve been talking to had finished everything and submitted it all and they then denied his visa but for some reason have said he can do it all again from the start..

Don’t worry about it too much it’s all straight forward just make sure you are submitting the right form in the right section..

haha yeah although its under 2months which i still think is earlier then the 8 weeks (adding time bcause of the annoying strike) so im happy either way.

lol lists im one of these “lets get organised a year before you go people” so i’ve only got the main stuff now
pre-season/season accomodation (debating on rideon or seasonit)
travel insurance
flights
gear - which ill get most of in van or whistler (turkey sale will help in oct.)
other stuff like - sin, phone, bank etc. that can only be done there

I really hope mine doesn’t take 8 weeks. I want to apply for jobs by the end of this month so having it approved would really help (I don’t know if I can apply before it comes in…)

Oh quick update, the minimum wage in BC is $10.25 so I have updated my first page to show this.

Well I will update it when I can edit stuff again…

Does whistler send out reps to recruit in Australia at all or do you have to just rock up to the job fair in Canada/pay their Australian affiliate a grand to set a job up before you go?
