The car will remain packed I’m heading down Monday at the latest even if this weekends weather doesn’t turn out.
I have to say the past couple of days weather in Sydney have been epic, slightly making up for the lack of snow. Just got back in from a surf and despite my head being underwater more often than not it would be hard to picture a nicer arvo.
Despite the fact that you will miss an epic dinner tomorrow night I don’t blame you for not heading down… although you could still have a surf tomorrow morning and jump in the car and be in Jindy at 6pm?
There may even be a bed up for grabs in Blizz accom. Ask her.

My own situation is that I’m locked in for next week due to school hols - so glad I didn’t book for this week! I can’t really pull out as everything is booked and paid for, but things are looking up with a dump tonight and continuing snow until Sunday when we arrive, then clearing to a week of low wind with the possibility of more snow around Friday.

The dinner is tomorrow night? I thought the one I was uninvited from was on Saturday? If I do head down my plan was to arrive late (after a hearty dinner at the parents on the way) and sleep at the tube.
We’ll see I’m not ruling the weekend out yet (it’s meant to cool down up here as well over the weekend which makes staying here less desirable) and we should have a much better picture of what this cold front does by tomorrow.

Sounds like we are in a similar boat. I’m on school holidays but booked accommodation September last year so I’m also glad I picked the 2nd week of the holidays not the first.

Gotcha well I’ll clarify that I’d meant head down Friday night (arrive late) and ride Saturday, As I thought that would be the pick of the days if the big Friday dump eventuates? My main concerns being a huge crowd and potentially things being on wind hold.
I’m pretty easy though just playing it by ear at the moment.
