I think oz is right with the “bored” statement.
Too many staff not enough things to do.
Last night I even worked with a Perisher staff member in Thredbo! They were so in need of extra work.
God I hope so. I’ve been watching the snow reports every day for the past 4 weeks waiting for snow. We start our 18 hour drive Saturday week woot! Stupid snow lol.
Stupid snow lol.
Its a bit like men really… can’t live with, can’t live without it…
Maybe this is why I am single! The snow provides enough of an emotional roller coaster for me right now!

Lol I say the same thing about women. I do get the feeling that the snow can’t decided weather it wants to come or go. Last week they though it was going to puke snow today. Now it’s just windy…
They make it look so good on the cams but when you look at photos on facebook it just makes me sad. Last season was really good to guess we just got lucky.

Where did you hear about that? It was always late Thursday/Friday on everything I read…

Snowwatch they said on 3rd it was going to snow about 5+cm then it changed until tomorrow.
I REALLLY hope this weekend is a good batch of snow because there’s probably going to be nothing until we leave .
This year we are going to do more drinking. what are the best pubs in town? we usually hang out at the station but it’s pretty quite there sometimes.
There’s your mistake… listening to Snowatch
But I am still confused… this is from snowatch and grasshopper last Wednesday. snow on Friday 5th
Frog hedging his beats
More snow the first week of July around the 5th-6th is also likely, although probably only light and up high. Following this the 10th-11th looks like we could see some light snowfalls. Although there is still a chance one of these could build into something stronger I see the best chance of a good dump of snow being across the 18th-20th of July.
Grasshopper doesn’t quite have his balls on the line but has been talking up the storm 5 - 7th for days now.
I still like the looks of a potential front due from the 5th to 7th July. I know that seems like a ridiculously long way out, but it is the widespread signal from all models that really has me paying attention. It could still all go horribly pear shaped. We’ll start to nail down the details early next week. Until then, have hope.

Best bars in town are the Banjo and the LJ
Banjo on the left as you just get into town (Click here for photo)
And the LJ which is generally quieter but can have a decent atmosphere is further up the road on the right. Just before the BP. (Click here for photo) - Turn right at the next turn after that photo for the carpark

My vote is for Beach Burrito Co and Banjo’s
LJH can be hit or miss…

Thanks for the spell. trying to type fast as boss is floating around the office lol.
Thanks for the advise. We’ve been to the LJ a fair bit, but only for cheap food. Never been to banjo so we’ll hit that up . Where should we go for state of origin night??? Or is that not such a big thing in jindy?
Also it was the long range forcast that was saying today. Didn’t read the “frogs” thing till later
Either Banjo or LJH for the state of origin
Both will have good atmosphere…
Banjo’s has a sports bar out the front… and then a restaurant and ‘cocktail lounge” off to the side…
Some may debate me on this but i think the LJH has a slightly (and only slightly) younger crowd… Not sure how old you are HardSnow.
18 vs 19, Apples vs Oranges?
Or the bowling club = 40+? hahaha
Meanwhile, are we going to raffles on Friday night?
More like 18 - 30 at the LJH
and 20 - 40 at Banjo’s (except when the nightclub opens out the back that lowers the age, but thats only open late a couple of nights a week)
And hells yes… Raffles on Friday
Looking forward to my Lamb Shank!!!
Sounds good, hopefully we have another positive night .
Dinner is good there too! (Bowling Club)
