You guys keep typing here… I’m going to moiwa!  tongue wink

Difference between my last 2 visits to Niseko (4 years apart) - first time was fresh tracks all day (on AND off piste!) , second time: all tracked out by mid morning. But still lots of lines all day if you know where to find them. wink

I myself need to broaden my horizons in the direction of a USA/Canada trip beforehand!

Please note my email which was sent to you prior to this post grin

drc13 - 02 July 2013 10:15 PM

Ok now that we’ve got that off our chest can we just agree to get a long (love if you wish) for at least the next couple of days. I’m on holidays and meant to be chillaxing not BW raging!

Deal but only if we can agree on one thing - along should be one word not two… wink

For the record I am not raging shaka I’m just trying to raise my post count whilst trying to get a rise outta you!

Haha OK, wouldn’t you know it in between typing my walls of text I’ve had a whole bunch of SMS’s coming through I hadn’t made it to my email inbox yet!

LOL you just can’t help yourself! I haven’t spell/grammar checked a single one of these posts (they were more of a brain dump then hit submit) so you could probably have a field day with my posts tonight. Surely I’m not the forums worst offender though?

I think I’m going the long hard way raising the post count. Need to shorten my posts and stop multi-quoting.

Hah gees I wonder why? Could have something to do with the targeted attack! Could list some other tongue in cheeck things that would be deemed inappropriate for BW!  zipper

Yeah OK that one is fair enough! But surely my generally pretty good record gives me one slack night off! I’m not into the serial offender category yet am I?  hmmm

Oh you’d find some reason I’m sure!

The BB would probably help though as I’d be posting a hell of a lot less!  tongue wink

Hey aren’t we deeply madly in love now or hasn’t that started yet? Don’t go pushing my other buttons not recharged enough to nerd rage just yet!

Yeap, I’ve only seen a few loud drunks walking down the street… But that was probably me?  oh oh  smirk

We have a large group of friends that live/work/holiday to Niseko - that’s why we keep going back… But we also have cars to travel to other places, not that we go too often. More so to drive to Kutchan to eat/shop! I have so many good memories from Niseko, that’s why I love going back…

Saying that, loved the main island too… But can’t do both this year!

Nice! Doing a driving tour of either Hokkaido or Honshu is definitely high up on my to do list as well!

Read a fantastic trip report from a guy that did something similar on a rival forum.

That would be a trip that would need a heap more planning though and to take advantage of some of the more remote places I’d admittedly need to look into a bunch of safety training.

Kutchan has everythin that ya need!!!!!

Even though it’s architecture is pretty bland, and the streets are no more than a basic grid, I love that little town for some reason!!!!!

Do ya go and eat at Torimatsu????? I reckon I could eat there every day of my life!!!!!  LOL

These two things!

I love that you can pretty much not get lost (the ski jump is always visible!)

And even though most people do not speak English… between a little Japanese and hand gestures you can get by!

Window shopping is great too!

They pretty much leave you alone… no “can I help you” questions… which helps cause there are some werid shops! Which ad to the fun!

But I can also spend hours in the Co-Op!

No I haven’t, was busy! But it’s on the list for next time. We go to this little place owned by an old Japanese couple who don’t speak a word of English - and just hope for the best we don’t get lambs balls or something like that. It’s awesome! wink

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve met anyone in Kutchan that could speak english!!!!!

Co-Op is friigin unreal!!!!! I’m like a Kid in a Candy Shop!!!!!

The lady at the register at Co-Op last time was tryin to get me in on one of their promotions that had a voucher type deal, and she was goin ten to the dozen in Japanese!!!!! LOL

Must have been cause I said Good Evenin to her in Japanese, and she thought I could speak the language????? I just smiled and said thankyou, but then Mika came up and asked what was goin on, then tried to work out what the lady was explainin to me!!!!! Hahahaaaa!!!!!

Even had an iPhone Translator APP showdown with the young guy in the Alcohol Section, cause Mika was after some Absinthe!!!!! Lots of laughs from all of us!!!!!
