I sticker my duco, but then I also paint it. The stickers cover the dodgy workmanship
For a long time I didn’t like any sticker on my car, even the rego label annoyed me. Then I used a sticker to cover an unsightly TV window antenna and I kept going. :|
I don’t even like car emblems. The only one I won’t take off is the VW on the bonnet.
Nice clean lines all over
Those head units look good. There is plenty of room for amps behind the backseat. Shortening the rear seat shouldn’t be a problem. I will have a look at ours, see what’s involved.
Yours is a Trendline? If so, no speakers or wiring to rear dors. I ran wires and figured out how to get them inside the original loom, so no leaking.
Will find my pictures of the job.
The trim clips break really easily. From memory Toyota ones worked as a replacement. Couldn’t get Amarok ones when I dd it.
Cheers Azz, I was aware the Trendline had no rear speakers, didnn;t bother me, I disconnected them in the Ranger anyways! From what I have read on the Amarok forums the standard speakers are pretty decent, especially if powered by an amp, yet to decide if I want to go aftermarket with speakers.
I might just try the amp powering the sub I have now for starters, failing that amp powering front splits and sub and if it’s still not up to par then I will go aftermarket splits and decide if I want to tackle a custom super box ha ha!
Been doing a fair bit of reading on the Amarok forums and I noticed that people who have had the doors trims off broke 50% or more of the clips!
Nice purchase NBG!

You’re as bad as Ozgirl with her “quite” instead of “quiet” to Finney this morning after teasing me and DRC about our spelling… lol
Very nice, NBG. Enjoy your beast!
I sussed out the back seat in the Rok this arvo, I don’t think its any big drama to shorten the seat to allow for a sub to fit in.
Any Motor Trimmer should be all over it, or send it to me and I’ll sort it for you.
Spent 11 hours give or take in this over the last 2 days. I want one.
That is all.
Not sure about modifying the actual seat Azz, that seems a little extreme! I meant more making a shallow contour hugging box tha sits across the etntire back seat under the lip of the front ofthe rear seat and encroaches only perhaps 2-3 inches out into the fottwell. I suspect the carpentry/joinery skills and tools required maybe out of my reach!
I would have offered yo a drive Deano, nomally hanging to hsare the driving on a snow trip but I was enjoying myself a bit too much and it’s still too fresh to hand the keys over just yet, maybe next time ha ha!
Haha all good mate, i was happy to be chauffeured
My boss has a ROK and I’ve had the pleasure of driving it around a bit for work. Such a sick car and really fun to drive. He got his for free from the company, lucky bastard!
