Still working on accom for season but have had bed for last two nights in a lodge, moving into an empty apartment for rest of the fortnight.

Had to turn down 2 jobs that had accom due to having to work days (and nights).
One came about because a dude busted his shoulder today and is out for the season. When I approached the owner of establishment he laughed and before I asked he told me he knows I won’t take it even though he wished I would.
He was right! but if he hires someone that already has a bed he will give me the accom anyway.
My mate/boss/mentor (50 season local) did the rounds looking for a bed for me without luck.

I wonder if Thredbo’s water supply has been laced. I haven’t even hit the town yet to make the underground connections (PP decided to stay another night).

The above all happened within 14hrs of arriving and I arrived at 10pm.
