Looks alright for the money. I like that you went for something with 8gb RAM rather than the 4gb you mentioned earlier.
The GT610m may also add GPU accelleration for rendering video.

Just found same computer at a dick smith with no battery (they sold it )
Offered me 480 for laptop.
Battery on eBay 30 bucks.

Reviews of that laptop:
+ Very fast start up, good battery, stays cool, numberpad to right of keyboard
- Keyboard is sloppy, speakers are at the bottom of the unit so if it’s on the desk the sound is muffled, touch pad is supersensitive, no bluetooth
+ Screen size, full size keyboard with numeric keypad
- No bluetooth, not full HD screen resolution, No backlit keyboard
+ Responsiveness of mouse, efficiency, quiet fan, no over heating yet, nice keyboard and layout. looks great
I’m happy for the price and the guts it’s got in it. Upgrade will be later in life 
I’m happy with the pros and cons.
