There’s swell in the forecast of the 16 day waiting period. So lets hope there’s some big tubes that go down and that the top seeds (parko, fanning, jordy, slater and taj) all get up this time!

Slater wins it, he totally deserved it but man he gets so much love from the judges, he got probably three 10’s I don’t reckon were really 10’s, high 9’s for sure but not 10’s, they throw those at him like it’s going out of fashion.

FOR SURE he gets over scored!! A few 10’s in there were not 10’s at all!!

Shame park didn’t get a better score against Mick.. He needs it!!

Big ups to Slats though.. Kelly Slater is the Kelly Slater of surfing.. Haha! 

haha SG he sure is! And he was totally showing off which added plenty of style and soul into his surfing.

The commentators where giving me the shits. “this is the best competition on tour”, “perfect waves”, “will go down in history” blah blah blah

There was a solid cross wind, had to wait for sets, etc… was not perfect.

Do judges still have the option of scoring an 11? Seem to remember something about that being a rule which was agreed would never be given as a score but it is there.
