Wow don’t know how you got 1300 with JAL! Mine cost 1550ish. I know I could do better, but I’m lazy. Are you stopping over anywhere besides Tokyo? Or maybe it’s because you’re flying from Syd?? I’m coming from Melbs so that’s prolly it…

Flying from brissy. Got a short stop in singapore. 4 hours or something.
It works out well cause we have 12 hour stop on the way back there so me and the boys are getting loose for the day haha LOL  beers
Hopefully make it back to the flight haha
We did it through flight centre. Just hit them with cheap flights I found with JAL and yeh worked out well.

Insurance was only 116 for the 28days as well. With travelinsurancedirect.com.au

Some mates and I are planning to do Niseko last 2 weeks in February 2014.
Any comments regarding the mountain and timing?

Also, has anyone flown Air Asia?
My GF found some flights Brisbane to Osaka return for $550 (flights via Kuala Lumpar).

Just a question: why would you fly into Osaka if you want to go to Niseko?? Is there a direct flight from there to Sapporo? How much is that?

They say Feb is the best month, don’t they? You’ll be fine with timing

I flew to Thailand via kuala lumpar with air Asia. Never flying with them again and never going via kuala lumpar haha

I found the service really crap, the food on the plane tastes like the plastic it comes in and kuala lumpar is a glorified shed that’s been decked out.
The airport at KL is so unorganised make sure you keep checking what gate you leave from because they changed ours 5 times without notice (none in English anyway) and didn’t update the flight departures board.
I’d pay the rest and fly with anyone else via singapore
Hope this helps smile

Yes there is.

But again cost might become a factor. I know a lot of people who flew Jetstar then JAL and got screwed.

If you can avoid it you should never pay more than $998 ex SYD plus 10,500 yen for ea domestic leg.

The flight from Osaka to Saporro could make the whole package not worth it. Because you can’t access the visit japan pass mentioned above if you book online. You have to get a TA to book it for you.

Jetstar Japan fly Osaka to Sapporo, and the prices I say would be quite reasonable.

When do the flights start?

Just looked up that route for the 15th Feb - 28th Feb no flights available.

I will be curious to see if they are cheaper than the 10,500 yen i mentioned!

How long you there for?? Get a decent deal on Accomodation?
We are looking at gettin a season pass. Mate said it will end up being cheaper? There for 28 days. Does anyone know what the season pass includes for niseko?
