Ooooo. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
well i’ll be down in wanaka/qt next weekend if you want to go get some shots and pick each other’s brains for inspiration.
After the dump of snow we got the other week my brother and i decided to hit a few of the rock drops we know around Thredbo.
Its always nice to have a soft landing

Evan! these are great angles & timing…but get those grabs!
I actually liked your second shot better f@tony, the sequence shot reflected in the goggles.
Your an ideas man. Thanks Evan glad you appreciate it. Had that one in my head for a while and was happy to get that onto film. If you don’t mind me asking Snopics, how did you get such a shallow DOF on that pole bonk shot? the most I could get with a wide angle on a crop sensor was in that goggle pic and I was 5 inches away from his face.
well, it’s not quite right for a tilt-shift lens, which is the only way you can do those shots, so I’d say that lens starts with a ‘P’ and ends in a ‘hotoshop’. This is getting away from documenting what happened (editorial) and getting into the realm of graphic art.

I’ve kept the shortest side 600 but they are still a bit long for most desktops. Hopefully you can view the full images to see all the elements.
