Your playing it wrong!
So did you know this was the rules of Monopoly??
I have a vague recollection of this being the case and occasionly someone wanting to play the “right way” but the right way was no fun!
It’s less fun with those rules… It speeds up the game too much.
I know the auction rule. I just prefer to play without it.
It’s more fun without it!
But to be honest, I never knew that rule until it popped up on an xbox game.
But you can turn that rule off and others on.

ive played more unfinished games or monopoly than finished ones
