Azz!! Good to see you and your fam visited my home state.. You daughter must of had a mind blowing experience!! And what a way to experience it! Bruny, Port Arthur and by the looks of it you were pretty close to shipsterns on a boat??

Tassie gets ratted on a lot by people who’ve never been, dont kock it if ya havent tried it.. I just moved back to Sydney after 3 months there to study at UTAS. Its always lovely going home, i had some great surfs on the east and west coasts.

Its such an adventure state for thrill seekers of all kinds!! Hopefully you guys get back in the summer time! smile

We love it down there SG. That is our 4th trip in the last two years.

Is Ship stern bluff really down there? We were pulling our young bloke Wildman’s chain saying we went there. I really have no clue where it is.

Yeah on your day 3 photos, your down at a spot called the hippolites… if you head back SW from there you’ll cruise past ship sterns, depending on how close you are to land.. Aaannnnnddd if you keep heading in that general direction you’ll eventually get to my little home town called south arm. Next time your down there, check it out..  Best place to raise a family! wink

Oh and the fishing is amazing too.. Yellow fin tuna are running this time of year.. BIG ONES!!  cool grin

Good on you for providing your little one with such a memorable experience.  We also had a good time in Tassie a few years back, especially once we got out of Hobart.

I had a look on a map, we were well South of Shipsterns, looks similar though.

We know South Arm, have friends down there that we catch up with when we are in Tassie.
Nice spot. Was your place over looking the river? Our mates place is about 15mtrs off the water, bloody amazing.

It’s 30 k’s off the Tasman Peninsula. That shot is taken south of Bruny.

My fav part of Hobart is Salamanca! Last time I was there my friends were living on the street behind the strip. This may or may not have been the reason for me nearly missing my flight the morning after partying there on my last night haha
