Mitchell T looks ready to be turned on?

Sorry Oz, but what were you saying about me being a naysayer about snow cover?

But not to worry I also said P would stock pile and push enough snow to cover the patchy areas.

Taken this morning.

Those two pics above are the same area. just different angles.

I think that there may be a sneaky early turn on this week/weekend of Mitchell T.

Anything is a vast improvement on this!

And it will probably cost $35 to ride a T-bar with 1000 others.

Helps if you use an image not 15days old

These statements contradict each other… there either you think there will be enough snow or there wont be…

I have been confident in the “yes there will be”

Even if it is just me being a “glass half full” kinda person.

The good old forecast looks seriously shit right now.  Heavy rain this Saturday, awesome NOT, hope there isn’t too much damage to the base.  The next system is apparently due the Friday night of the long weekend, should be interesting to see if it eventuates into much.

Um, the man made base on Front Valley? That’s the only place I see a base, ANYWHERE.

Patches of snow are not a base - a base needs to cover the entire run and be 10cm thick.

You have been a glass half full in your optimism. I will stand behind my realist statements of P making snow to stockpile and that the natural falls wont last until opening weekend.

THE SNOW THAT FELL IN MAY WILL NOT BE WORTH RIDING ON AND WONT FORM A BASE

Well I couldn’t give a rat’s ar se if there’s snow or not. I’ll be going Opening Weekend no mater what. Being at the snow with no snow is way better than not being at the snow.

And since when does anyone do any skiing / riding on Opening Weekend anyways??

I go to the snow for snow. I don’t see another reason to go to Perisher.

Can do Thredbo without snow any day of the year.

I’ve been following the other post but can’t commit to anything. Thanks for the invite though.
