Hahahahahahahahahahaahhaha lol lol lol lol lol lol
UM…... NO
Why you want to buy one off me?
COOMA Aldi - don’t bother! People drive 100’s of kms to line up for the doors to open (country town servicing big area, full of snow enthusiasts) THEY SELL OUT IN A COUPLE HOURS. I remember when I lived in Thredbo that many people did the drive. Draw a 100km circle around Cooma and you’ll get the picture. I believe Canberra has similar problems.
.
True but I also think that when the sale finishes, all the stuff from the other stores around gets sent to the cooma aldi store? maybe that sells out pretty quickly too, though.
There was heaps of stock in the Aldi at Toukley on the central coast, last year! haha
Yep all the leftovers get sent there.
Mum does two trips for the Oz family.
Cool that’s quality info right there.
It has to be the biggest day of the year for Aldi in Melb CBD. The first year there were just about fist fights as they put all the gear in one little section. They learned their lesson last year and distributed it right along the middle aisle. Still, I did see one woman casually push over a tall pile of boxes of boots just so she could get to one near the bottom.
i remember going to coffs aldi with my mate and mum a couple of years ago to get snow gear for the school trip to perisher, what an experience that was. Got there an hour early to line up, was already a massive line, and some dick heads started a new line near the front about 20 minutes after we got there. I remember mum saying “dont wait for me, ill get a trolley, you two run in and start grabbing everything you can and chuck it into the trolley, we’ll sort through it for sizes and what you want and dont want after”, and thats exactly what we did, barged our way through the stampede as soon as the doors opened and were some of the first at the racks, started grabbing everything we could, people were trying to snatch stuff, mum looked away from the trolley for no more than 1 second and some b!tch was trying to make off with it, mum wasn’t letting that happen, abused the crap outa this woman (not something ive seen mum do ever before), there were a few moments where items were seen in the bottom of racks and we literally had to dive in to beat people to them, almost ended up in fisty cuffs a few times.
We got most of the stuff we wanted and it was a funny and somewhat enjoying experience
Hahahaha sounds fun
Hoping to get my hands on some socks and thermals..

the thermals are ok, but if youve worn skins or any brand name skins like compression stuff, dont bother, you will be pissed off with them

I have a pair of Adidas skins shorts, I need some compression pants to try and limit the swelling in my knee after I finish riding.

Hahaha awesome!
If you already have skins shorts wouldn’t a compression knee sock thingy from the chemist be better off?

Probably will be. Me and my physio are just trying to work out ways to let me get on the board this year and be reasonably comfortable off it when I finish.
Problem with a compression tube is they tend to ride (up or down your leg) while on the hill, the pants generally stay in place and cover your whole leg so you don’t get build up of fluid in none-compressed areas (like in your calf/thigh/hip).
I use the compression tube post riding, after a hot shower/bath and, at times, while I sleep. Sometime in conjunction with pants. And keep my leg elevated.
At $12 for the Aldi pants it’s throw away money. But I agree; the more you pay for compression gear the better it is, my Aldi top doesn’t compare to my $200 compression top.
Compression gear lasts for years and years.
I’ve had my top 4years now and it is still like new. It’s done 100’s of days and been on my body up to a week without a wash - at $50/year it’s done more than it’s job. Just dont EVER put compression gear on a heater or in a clothes dryer - THEY MELT!
Advantage #2 of compression gear; it keeps you cool as well as warm. It cut my layers down from 4 or 5 to 2 or 3.
Ozgirl will attest to this - The pants make driving pain free by reducing lactic acid build up in your legs. 5 hrs in a car after riding all day can be painful - but not while wearing compression pants.
