I actually dont mind the jacket vest combo. Wouldnt wear it to the snow, but for my Outdoor ed. classes and camps could go alright for rather cheap

Haha it actually looks alright!!!

Which one are you talking about?

The soft shell tracksuits are a bit of a worry! LOL

gone get some socks and maybe some of the compressions stuff.

Gonna swing into Canberra Costco tomorrow! woot woot

Not to bad for a backup set of gear or for that friend that’s only going to go once or twice in the season.

I wear the compression pants 24/7 through winter. Wearing them right now.
The socks are ok but nothing on BW socks. BW socks are the best I’ve ever had.

I’ll be getting;
Adult compression pants X3.
Kids thermal underwear.
Thermoboots X2.
Socks X2.
$140
Maybe some pants for me, have to check if PP fits her pants from last year.

Every year I talk myself out of walkie talkies. Because they don’t connect to a head set.

The snow bike for $50 would make for a fun challenge at the BWShred.

saw that too, but then saw it had a weight limit of 40kg!

Socks look nice and cheap might give them a go. Compression pants would be nice. That gear actually looks good and stylish.

So you obviously rate the compression pants then Spaz? Might get a pair (that is if Aldi in Hervey Bay has snow gear!?).

Might buy my girlfriend some gear too… We might be going to NZ for her first ever snow trip. Sure hope she likes it!

For you sake I hope so too!

But yeah the aldi compression stuff is good!

But Spaz thanks for the reminder about my boardworld socks! They are awesome, I forgot I have plenty

You’re not going to load up on the cameras, Spazz?  wink

BARGAIN!!

Wow, their range gets better every year. I have some mates with the gear and they say it works fine. I always find it fun to count how many people you find on the mountain with the same gear lol

Last year I bought an Aldi compression top. But I also have a X-skin compression top ($200).
They are as different as the price!
Love my X-skin.

For the price of the Aldi compression gear you can’t fault it at all. I wont buy another Aldi top, only wear it as pj’s now.
The pants do their job and haven’t faulted at all and like I said I wear them 24/7 and this is the second season - not a hint of wear in the material. (found a second pair I bought last year so will only buy one pair this year).
If I didn’t have so much strapping on my leg I would pay for expensive compression pants - $200 sounds a lot but they are that good it makes them worth it.

COOMA Aldi - don’t bother! People drive 100’s of kms to line up for the doors to open (country town servicing big area, full of snow enthusiasts) THEY SELL OUT IN A COUPLE HOURS. I remember when I lived in Thredbo that many people did the drive. Draw a 100km circle around Cooma and you’ll get the picture. I believe Canberra has similar problems.

Look for an aldi in a suburb that have customers less inclined to go to the snow (near a housing commission maybe), their stock will last a day or 2.

I’m luck to have 4 stores within 10km. The nearest is 2km.
