Found out in mid April that work is shutting my division down as a result of a management decision in the US. Was definitely not stoked about that but my MD recommended me to another company that is looking at buying a part of our company. Went in for the interview on Thursday and got offered a job on the spot for a little bit more cash than I was on so very stoked about that, just waiting for the contract to come through early next week.
Busy as shit though trying to tie off loose ends as my current mob has told me that as long as it looks like we can deliver the $3mill of projects I have currently sold they will honour my back end comms payments when they wind my division up. All going well I leave with a house deposit and a new job to walk straight into right after I have a week at the snow end of June start of July. Even better if they were to tell me I don’t have to work out my notice period and I can do a month ha ha ha!
Silver linings seem to be my specialty according to my mates, seems like I’m the only one that gets worried when this shit happens to me, everyone else is like that cnut will fall on his feet, always does.

What a great weekend. Bought a house yesterday, went in today to plan my birfday party with the venue. Good times ahead.

So stoked. We finished the mini ramp today and had such an awesome session on it! Let the good times roll 
Stoked, storage wax is off my board… and replaced with toko low fluro wax… board is ready to go…. (and so am I.. but I’ll have to wait till the 14th of June..)
Stoked to try out our new Downhill mountain bike for the first time today.
Mind was blown as to how differently it handles to a normal bike. Pretty fun, though!
