Freddy looking all hardcore with our new toy - Giant DH Team downhill mountain bike. 2nd hand. Bought a bunch of protective gear too (helmet, knee and elbow pads, booby protector and back brace).
To be completely honest I am excited but also a bit scared about doing this!
I’ve seen way too many YouTube clips of downhill mtn bike crashes, and we’re going to the USA in August and I don’t want to go there having just had an operation and with pins in my legs and on crutches!
So I’m going to be taking it VERY easy to start with. Was stoked to find out they run free ‘Intro to downhill’ lessons pretty often so I will definitely be hitting those up!
The bike park doesn’t open for another few weeks, so I’ll be riding around a lot familiarising myself with the bike and how it works as much as I can in the mean time.

I dig watching downhill but my cajones are to old and shrivelled to do it seriously.

$320 mate so 10% off or thereabouts. Being nice to the local store and all, these boots are so popular that they are hard to find online on sale here or in the US and boots are the one thing I am ok with buying in person.
i just bought a camera slider off ebay, not sure how to post the pic but will be using it alot down at the snow so should be fun. Cant wait for it to arrive

If your feet are anything like mine mate your going to be riding clouds, responsive, comfortable, addictive clouds 
I got the Nick Muller pro model kajui late last season and they took a couple of days to get used to (never comfort wise) after hoping out of some Burton hails, a lot more responsive but no sacrificed comfort. I felt they really did wonders for my board control, especially in the park
