I was going to suggest a bbq at mine if anyone is keen?

I still want some of your fancy cooking but hard to pass on a BBQ!

I don’t blame you… even when Kim say’s she stuffs the food up it’s still amazing! lol

Ok.. So I won’t be there LWE.. But I’m booked in for 14/15/16th, (fri-sun) weekend after..

then 28/29, then 15-21 July.. Then 19 Aug - 01 sept. (maybe the weekend in the middle of those trips too, 03/04 Aug)  then possibly a weekend after that and then 23-29sept

You are going to regret not joining us for more time during the shred, don’t just take my word for it either, ask anyone who has come to the shred, funnest week I’ve ever had at the snow cheese  dance

I know.. I’d love to stay longer but there are quite a few factors in determining our snow trips each year…

Eg. This year in Sept.. I am stepping down at work.. so 2-300 a week less at work…(but going to study) also depends on Mr.h0z and the usual group that goes.. we set these dates at the start of the year… to make sure we all get holidays…

And also we work around birthdays.. this year for the 3rd year in a row I’m missing my best friends Bday to come down.. (we leave 3 days before it)  and we have mr.h0zs parents, and my mum all mid season…  and his sister too…

Also being manager at work.. I have to work around when other people take holidays.. as I can’t have too many people out of the dept at one time..  (also mine won’t be approved it this is the case)

Next year will be different though.. as I will just be a full timer.. and hopefully finished, if not close to finishing study.. (online course that can be done between 6 months and 2 years..)

Less time at work means you can come!!!!

You don’t need your other friends or even Mr H0z!!!!

Yes.. but less time at work and now having to save for study, finish paying my car off.. and saving 7-10k for a Japan trip….

Just not realistic for me this year… if I win lotto I’ll be there the whole time.. I promise!! Haha

How long do you plan to be in Japan for? I went to Japan for 2 weeks including flights and hotels (Not overly expensive ones but not cheap) and I came in around $3000 including 7 days on the snow and a snowmobiling day.

If you are still getting paid your wage at the same time (annual leave?) the amount you need saved should be lowered by almost 2 weeks pay (meaning I paid about 1/2 that amount out of savings)

Yeah I am with TJ.

Japan should not cost $10k! even if you were paying for the two of you on your own!

With the state of the economy and the weak yen you could nearly buy a snow field for that!  LOL
