The STOKE thread
My neck/shoulders/back have stopped hurting after 6 weeks of constant pain (since I fell off a ladder onto ceramic tiles from 6’)
But maybe I just don’t notice the pain because of my stuffy head and constant leaking nasal passage.
Stealing free wifi from the apple store as I wait to check out The Louvre!

But then I get the magical text at 11pm asking if he can come an crash…
He has just left - no mention of mothers day.

Stoked on last night, got to cruise around in a mates beast of a 1960 Pontiac…something
Was tough as f**k! loud, low and turned shitloads of heads.
We went to Thirroul for dinner then to Ryans for a beer, had the entire front of Samuels staring at us parking, was pretty funny.
I want a big block muscle car now…

You bastard didn’t come and see me! I was sitting around doing bugger-all most of the night at CaveBar (Gringos - opposite Thirroul library, right next to the train station) most of the night. 
I would have dug checking out that beast - 1960 Pontiac Bonnelville I’m guessing.
CaveBar (la cueva) is where the staff from Samuels/Ryans/Beaches go for after work drinks. FinBox (surf shop in bg of photo) often have feature nights there.
You missed checking out the best underground bar in Wollongong and me making you a cocktail!

For some reason i thought you worked at the bar next to samuels so i was looking in the window to see if you were behind the bar!

I left Samuels at the start of 2009 just as we started planning the bar next door.
Tonight was very quiet at work (1 customer in restaurant) so the boss and I sat down and planned a new layout and refitting of the dinning area. He liked 90% of my ideas and designes.
Stoked.
The one customer we had was getting takeaway and was very cute! While she waited for the food I showed her the bar, she ended up booking it for a 21st party next Saturday! Turned out it was for her older brothers birthday - whoops.

Stoked, I went home for mothers day yesterday and came home with a stereo (mum upgraded but I just want to use it for TV speakers) and found half a bar of fluro wax in the garage that I bought a few years ago. Just as I was running low and thought I was going to have to get new stuff!
