There is only so much room in the VW.
The ford Territory can legally carry 7.
5 with all their ski gear (only ski gear and one small backpack each).
Unless everyone pays for a roof pod. Then 5 adults in comfort plus luggage.
I’ll drive but youse pay for fuel.

It’s possible. I’ll be driving though, and it will be via the snow and hopefully in the VW because I have some VW friends in Vic.
