Mizu, what don’t you like about it? Our priority was first getting it functional, which it now is. Curious as to what you don’t like? I’m guessing you want a flashing icon or something?

Yeah, but not flashing as such!!!!!

I just reckon it should fit in with the theme of notifications, like the speech bubbles!!!!!

Maybe something like a Blue Envelope that shows up next to your name, when you have an unread message!!!!!

Visual unread PM notification is now working (on the top bar next to your screen name).

Sorry mate - looks terrible, and it’s completely unnecessary.

Besides, if there’s no unread messages, it’s redundant. If there’s unread message(s), all you need is the number next to the name. Make the number blue so it stands out, and people will read their messages. When all messages are read, there’s no number. Too easy.

All of u relax lol

It’s not how it’s meant 2 look when I fixed it yesterday it suppose to show only if u have 1 + messages if u didn’t have any messages it was meant to only show ur login name.

And it worked but something or someone changed it. I am looking in 2 it

All good mate, but the words “UNREAD MESSAGES” aren’t necessary. Just the number is enough - maybe put ‘em in square brackets? Square brackets look cooler.

We will get it sorted. We just wanted to get it functional for now. Thanks for the suggestions. I like chucky’s idea of [1] in the blue text colour. Anyway, we will look into it.

blue is 2 dark on black if you think specific color that you like plz provide me the color in HEX or RGB
.

for time been i have changed it to red, but keep in mind if you dont have pm you will not see 0 you will just see your name, working on it.

Why not try the Envelope Icon in White then????? (Did ya try it in the Blue?????)

* The Same Icon as you see in the Drop Down Box at your Username!!!!!

You don’t need to know how many messages that you have!!!!! Just a notification that there is a/some unread message/s!!!!!

When they have been opened/acknowledged, the icon reverts back to Black, and the whole thing stays Clean!!!!!

blue is 2 dark on black . . .

The number can’t be white, as it blends with the username. The blue on black is fine - just look at the page number on the bottom of this page.

No other colours. For the forums, it’s either black, white, grey or blue.

It’s the same blue used everywhere else.

There’s also no need for a zero when there’s no unread messages.
