Have you received the “Failed Security Test” error today?

I just checked the BB.

I can get the fast reply box up and type, but get the security error :-(

Yep using chrome!

Pop up box comes up but when i tap to type in it, it disappears :-(

Which was the original problem, so no change for me

Hmm how strange, I just switched back to default keyboard (I’ve recently installed the new swype) but that appears to work fine with thay as well.

Presuming you keep your apps up to date in the play store so it’s probably not a chrome issue.

At a pinch you could test with chrome beta (its a separate app to chrome so you can easily remove it if it doesn’t help)

What’s not working? The button to select the smileys or your ability to see them? If you can’t see them, can you see them when logged out? This could be the same problem spaz had (which we can fix).

It was the ability to see them they just showed up as the :randomsmiley: It seems to have started working for me this morning anyway. Back at work so will have a proper check when I’m home later.

I noticed I get them more if I am on Telstra’s 3G network more than on our WiFi…. as a rule, BW is slow and painful on 3G on iPhone or iPad
