Never snowboarded in Vic myself, but have heard that Falls has the best parks there….and maybe BawBaw if you’re just in to jibbing around on small stuff for fun!

aw yeah, any advice is better than none smile

we aren’t too fussed really, time on snow is better than sand dunes in west oz!

Hey mate, if you are doing 2-3 days and want park (and snow) head to Falls Creek. Its a bit further drive (4.5hrs) but they have Victorias best parks. They always have snow. Buller is a pain in the but mountain. Depends also when u go to Buller cos they have the Vic interschools 18-24 August. So the hill will be so busy you will hate life. Its busy as it is anyway.

Falls is my suggestion.

Baw Baw is also fun and makes fun parks (they really stepped it up last year) but being quite low it often struggles with snow cover. If they have lots of snow and the park is running, head there. Closest mountain to Melbs and it is always empty

Buller is OK It’s pretty close as well, you can get there in 3 about hours from Melbourne, Park is pretty decent as well.

Falls is the best for park in Vic for sure. Fair drive from Melbourne though, close to 5 hours.

Baw Baw is good (if there’s snow, and if they have all their features set up), and only a 2.5 hour drive.

If I were you Buller would be my pick. If you haven’t ridden for a while there should be a heap of stuff for you to have fun with at Buller.

But if you’re keen, head up to Falls if you haven’t been before. The park is sick, and it’s awesome to watch other people ride as well.

I’d stick Falls on the list if you have 3 days, you will be well stoked shaka

Had fun at Buller the week I did there but geez it woulda been good to actually see! Not just talking about scenery I mean anything, like hands, board, wife and kids lift poles! At least now when I’m riding with the boys and the call goes out for poor visibility I can always pull the old “it’s better than Buller”

Buller is known for its bad weather/visibility. Its because its basically hill in the middle of a flat region. It cops all the weather bad.
Most the other mountains are amongst and in the middle of a mountain range so the weather is more reliable

I agree with all of the above… Buller, on a good day, is ace. But come bad weather/tempremental snow/interschools it can turn into HELL very quickly..

Park - Falls is your best bet! You can go to Baw Baw, but I reckon you’d be over it very quickly. Depends what you like tho…
