Mall Grab?
Our homies at 24 Skateboards have just posted an interesting question that I thought I should share with BW.
I know my opinion but I want to hear what you guys think first.

I saw this on their IG, there were some funny comments haha! The one along the lines of “Gotta mall grab so the fingers don’t get rough on the grip and stay smooth for the ladies” literally made me lol!

I don’t really understand the issue? Now there is some way you need to carry your board to be cool? Skateboarding is fucked
I didn’t really get it either. I’ve probably held a skateboard like that many times. But I’m not a skater and I’m certainly not cool. 
When I first started skating again, I was basically a total beginner.
So when I went to a skate park, a guy I met there was helping me out a bit. But then he said “Don’t hold your board like that bro, people will rip on u for it”.
For ages I thought - what a load of ****. Why should it matter how you carry it?
It almost made me a bit angry. But then I realised that was just him saying “your not a poser, so don’t look like one”. He was actually helping me out.
So if there are hipsters out there posing as skaters… well… I can’t stand people like that. So screw em lol.
i dont like it when people carry around skateboards and dont skate. thats just silly.
but if somone does skate then it shouldnt really matter how they carry their board.
I guess it’s just an easy way to weed out the posers.
I don’t know any real skaters that carry their board like that.
But if someone could skate, or was trying to learn, obviously I wouldn’t make fun of them for holding their board like that.
But I’m glad someone told me, so I would probably tell them.

Other thing is that you end up ripping your clothes on the griptape and having no threads to impress the ladies.

Some times I will carry it like that so I don’t smack out the little kids on elevators when I’m cruising the strip. Having your threads hanging off you while from skateboarding just reminds me of David Gonzalez who has balls of steel.
On the other hand “can you do a kickflip?”
