What do you mean exactly? What are you clicking on to be taken to the first post rather than the latest?
We tried to fix the look of the forums, giving it subtle differentiation without major changes. We experimented with grey and different colours and nothing really worked. I think this option was the best for sure.
Will look into quote options.
When I click on the link to any of the threads I’m taken to the first post, I then have to scroll all the way to the bottom and click “last page” and then find the post I had read up to.
I’m pretty sure previously it would take you to the last post you had read by default whilst logged in.
Yeah at first it was just too stark imho which gave the impression of a big wall of text. At least now with the dotted line it’s easier to differentiate between two posts.
I’d really appreciate a change in the way the quotes look. It works okish if it’s just a single quote but look above and my one to Mizu and it’s a bit of a mess.
Just got to be careful not to slip into form over function. The best forums are the ones that are simple to use and pleasant on the eyes.

I still don’t understand. If you click on the actual thread name (red), it will take you to the first post. If you click on the latest post link (green), it *should be taking you to the last post, which is what it does for me. This is how it used to be on the old forums as well.
Can you please confirm what you’re clicking on?
used to click on the red (or the numbers under the red to be exact), to get to last post
never clicked on the green previously

Guys, with the appearance of the quoted text, how would you have it appear. If i remember correctly, the old forums also had the same issue of getting smaller and smaller as more people quoted. Can you please provide a visual example of the type of quoted text you would like? We can create whatever but I’m currently unsure of the best option.

Personally I quite like how it is. Maybe if it was forced italics or smaller font size it would be better (to differentiate that it’s a quote. I can’t see adding boxes to help, just adds more clutter.
