Sounds like it’s fluid build up from over use while riding pow.
I like riders advice, in pow I move both feet back to relieve the work my back leg does.
Get a pressure sock/stocking/bandage to support your knee and remove fluid. Wear compression pants (come on Oz you know that).
Rest and raise the leg. (I’ve gone to the extreme of using crutches when off snow).
Some alcohol is worse than others - don’t drink red wine with a new injury - it could actually kill you by thinning your blood and not allowing clotting.
