Not yet. We are still deciding what type to get. We really like the Japanese Maple but the tag on them says to keep them sheltered from wind. Well that won’t work, it gets windy every day here.

A Flowering Cherry would look nice, but I reckon ya need somethin like the Maple cause of the colour of ya brick!!!!!
Chinese Tallowood would look sweet as a feature????? And look wicked down your way in Autumn!!!!!
We definitely want something deciduous out the front. Our plan is for them to fit nicely in the gap of our front windows, which unfortunately means a height and width restriction…
The ground is also clay, so will prob put them in pots.
Ahhh, what about somethin like a grafted weeping cherry????? (Although, the light colours of the flowers wont provide a contrast with the brick, the foliage will)

Clay soils are the best!!!!! They have the most nutrients in them!!!!!
Just spread heaps of Gypsum in and around the hole, and keep them mulched, and that’ll help with drainage!!!!!
