Baby Mizu used to live and work on Hamo!!!!!
If ya go there, book through Virgin as they do flight/accomo packages!!!!!
If ya really have the dough, stay in Qualia, or on a budget go the Reef Hotel!!!!!
If it were me goin to the Whits, I’d hire a boat!!!!! Preferably a Cat!!!!!

Hells yes!!
But I don’t think that is in the budget for Deano - could be wrong!
Not sure what Dylan thought was wrong with mine! Esp since Blizz in essence rec’d the dame as me!
But like I said earlier!!!!!
The coin ya spend on air/transfers can get a cool beach shack down the coast, and a shitload of bubbly, beers, and bbq supplies!!!!!
Haha mizu.. see my reply.. on the previous page.. I even mention wineries… we went for a weekend.. accomo for the night was 140 for us both with a view over Huskisson bay, and a 4 min walk to the Huskisson.. (the local pub with AMAZING food.. I had chicken stuffed with spinach and camembert, veges.. and 2 garlic prawn skewers.. and they had a live band which was pretty decent.. and this is the last place before the beach..
http://www.thehuskisson.com.au/
We stayed in a motel further down the road.. but you can stay at the Huskisson..
Its like a smaller south coast version of Byron.. all the shops down the main strip and the beach at the end and an awesome ice creamery across from the Huskisson.. lol

Sorry for the OT - but if it is a 10m Seawind then there is a reasonable chance that freddy built it! Heaps of seawinds up that way. Pretty sure they’ve closed everything down in Bellambi now and moved everything to Vietnam….which is why freddy got out and got another job before there was 60 other guys all looking at the same time!
Yeah, Husky is a great place, and Jervis Bay is full of awesomeness!!!!! I used to go down twice a week surfing all around that area when I was a teenager!!!!!
And the further down the coast I reckon it gets better, h0z!!!!!
When there is so many that retire north, I’ll def be goin the opposite direction!!!!!
And I also agree with Wineries!!!!! The Hunter Rocks, The Southern Highlands is a great area, and around The King Valley is friggin unreal (although a bit of a drive)!!!!!
The wineries I suggested are down south.. (shoalhaven wine region). So they are on the way to husky.. lol!
Also.. if you want to do something different than the beach.. drive kangaroo valley.. and see Fitzroy falls.. so beautiful.. in fact when Mr.h0z and I went it was freezing.. (early spring) and there was small sleet/snow flakes falling.. (I got it on video on my old Phone.. lol)

Yep I can’t complain that my parentals went south for their retirement!
And neither can most of BW! LOL

kangaroo valley is a day trip from Deano’s neck of the woods. Same with husky etc. Not that there is anything wrong with day trips!
Yeah, there’s a couple of good wineries down that way, but when ya mentioned wineries, I kinda went off on a little journey!!!!!
Kangaroo Valley used to be nice, but its more of a day trip thing like cords said!!!!!
For Wineries I recommend Hunter River Retreat

One word = SPA
Whitsundays! With a definite visit to Whitehaven Beach!
Didn’t you get married at Long Island??
So a vote for that?
Yeah we did, but the resort needs a makeover… food was great, but the resort needs some TLC.
Especially when it comes to activities and entertainment.
Haha don’t get my wrong.. I frequent the hunter.. ( about 5-6 times a year..) and absolutely love it.. but was trying to help demo get miss French into a bikini on a private beach.. haha just looking out for his best interests lol!!
But if hunter is the go.. then I will suggest a few wineries..
Firstly tempus two.. it had an awesome smelly cheese shop and Japanese restraint called oishii, and the size of the property is amazing.. its in central broke.. right near the gardens..
Next would be bimbadgen.. also an impressive view.. especially from out the back of the cellar door.. and this is one of the only wineries I’ve seen where you walk down past the massive fermentation tanks to the tasting room.. if you turn right off broke Rd, when you get to tempus two and follow that you will see it on the hill.. on the right hand side..
Of you turn left instead and follow the road along to marrow bone road.. you will see Ivanhoe wines.. this is a much smaller winery but still awesome.. every time I go I get the 3 for $60 and always get their semillion chardonnay, dry but a little sweet.
And then if you continue further down the road you will reach mount pleasant.. this a MASSIVE winery.. owned by McWilliams.. they have wineries all over aus and nz.. Mr.h0z is a member there and buys stuff online from them too…
Things to do besides wineries are;
Visit the hunter valley gardens.. http://www.hvg.com.au
Visit the chocolate shop.. its outside the gardens but in the same lot, (in the shopping village at the entrance)
Visit the men Duncan gallery.. and look at his amazing panographs (he is one of the reasons I got into panoramic photography) - I’m still yet to go as every time we go we always run out of time.. but I’m determined to go!
If your looking to stay in luxury.. stay at the crown plaza… we got a room above the pool and it was so nice..
http://www.crowneplazahuntervalley.com.au/
We scored the second an balcony on the left (diagonally on the right under the maroon framed balconies) in the second pic on the home page over looking that pool and the golf course that surrounds it..
Also there is a zoo.. but we have never been,
you can get early morning hot air balloon rides over the wineries at sun rise ( but this is a bit pricey..)
Or you could always take her to jindy and go for walks on the mountains or bike riding or sailing hehe
