Avatar

It the aptly named fresh powder apartments, adjacent to Deep tracks and around 100 meters from the gondola.

I’ll probably just get a cab down there from the Welcome center, but haven’t discussed with the manager whether they do pickups yet.

It’s all good!! shaka

So pumped to be planning this trip but shitting myself at the amount I’m laying down for 10 days!!! big surprise I’m sure the japanese pow will be worth it though!!

Ahhh, yeah I know those!!!!!

Nice accommodation, but the local is a bit of a walk to restaurants, convenience stores and bus stops!!!!! (Except for the Hanazono Shuttle Stop, and the Hirafu Gondora as you already know)

I guess you guys will be cooking most of ya meals?????

Ohh, and if the weather is ok, it’s a pretty easy trek from the Welcome Center!!!!! (Good Wheelie Bags etc)

I might be wrong, oz, but that link shows it at 6000Y, and that’s only for Hirafu?????

Does a Hirafu Pass give use of the free shuttles/kutchan bus, etc????? (I’ve always had a United Pass, so I don’t know)

Its the last options at the bottom.

Yerrp..

Hoppin of the plane with mini-anti and missus-anti and straight onto the bus to Hirafu!!

My mates think I’m crazy going with a 1yr old.. They are probably right… crazy for POW!!!  cool grin

Oh and yep.. gonna be cooking all our own meals so making a trip to Kutchan to get supplies on the first day. I’ve heard that there is little to no grocery-stores available in Hirafu and only kwik-e marts like Lawsons and Seicomart.. I don’t get it! You’d think they’d do a good trade if they setup a proper supermarket in hirafu!!

Now now anti you don’t want to sound like an australian wanting to change Niseko!!!

I don’t know Mizu - I am pretty sure it is meaning return to Niskeo! You will notice none of them say the resort - why would you want to go from Chitose to Sapporo and get a Niseko lift pass?  I just know its that company has the cheapest transfer when you include the lift tix.

(I love how you give tips when you have never done it LOL!)

The Seico-mart and Lawsons are good little convenience stores, and the prices are pretty reasonable, and especially for a snow resort!!!!!

But havin said that, def go the bus into Kutchan and shop at Co-op, right next to the Kutchan Train Station!!!!!

I’m like a kid in a candy store in that place!!!!!

* Mizu’s money saver tip - Buy the Suntory Rich Malt in a Slab!!!!! 2500Y and a good beer!!!!!

But if ya like Whiskey!!!!!

About 3200Y - 4000Y will get ya 4 Liters of the stuff!!!!! (Can’t tell ya what it’s like, cause I don’t partake in the stuff)

No, the way I read it it says from Sapporo > Niseko!!!!! If you need to get the bus from Sapporo, ya gonna need to get a Bus/Train in there first!!!!! Dunno why ya would do that though????? Unless ya gonna stay there!!!!!

The Chitose > Niseko is not only dearer, but it didn’t seem to have an United Pass option either!!!!! (From your link)

I call it how I see it!!!!! Doesn’t matter if I’ve done it or not!!!!!  tongue laugh

this one then…

I don’t know and beyond caring. Only trying to help Anti. To be honest I have never booked online. I just show up at the counter at the airport! And ask for a return ticket with the lift pass!
