I’ve been looking at a few apartments cause we want to self cater, but best I can find is around $260 a night.. I know this isn’t bad, but 14 days at that is over 3.5k just for accommodation 
I’m thinking of getting my amazing Japanese speaking wife to see if there are some Japanese run places which may be a little cheaper. I have a feeling that the market for Australian tourists is saturated with high-end, high-priced places. We only need somewhere very modest, as long as it’s within walking distance to a chair and we don’t have to rely on the shuttles..
