Oh and something to note on the whole photo thing is that 800 wide for a portrait landscape is too wide IMO

Ummm I was thinking maybe less graphic intense. The wallpaper images are a bit full on or maybe even some fresh ones. Rider26 you could make some with your new fresh design skills :D More rounded edges on every thing less block looking. I like the 5 colours though.
New website is have a complete graphic overhaul. Out with the old, in with the new. We will always keep trying to make the site better graphically. I am already thinking of new designs past the new website. I want simple, clean and effective.
It’s being refined but this will give you a rough idea of the style of the new site. No crazy backgrounds either. Going to keep it simple.
Let me know your thoughts.

Mizu, we could but that would stretch out smaller images, making them pixelated. The best option is to just add another button for larger images. What you think?
I’m not all that great with code.. or even know if this is possible.. (I assume it is, because my Lightroom has it)
But can it have a sort of a,
If; image = +800px, resize to 800px
Else; leave at original px size?
In other words… when I export images for online (eg Facebook) I have them at 1000px max on the longest side, and then have a box ticked that prevents it from making the image bigger is its already smaller than the 1000px…
Also as Oz said.. maybe see if there is a way to apply the resize to the longest side.. not just the width?

This one is more of a gimmick… but one forum I was on had a chat box on the right.. and you should leave a small message on it.. kind of like twitter but built into the site.. was pretty good..
Maybe in bio have a section where you can put all your gear… eg. Board: bindings: etc. ( we have that for car mods on one of the Mazda forums I’m on)
Also with the mobile app… don’t forget windows Phone 8.. my last 3 phones have been windows… and now most of our friends are getting them after playing with ours..
