In my (apprenticeship) day I got Sweet FA!!!
I remember the $600 a year they used to give to apprentices for tools etc. i blew mine in the Cross

TFYT2 1000 After 12 months
TFYT3 1000 After 24 months
TFYT4 1200 After 36 months
TFYT5 1500 On successful completion

paid mine off last year, but was still having it taken out of my tax, my tax return was AWESOME!!!!!
Its a good feeling being “debt free” (besides the 300G’s for my home loan

Yeah i spent all mine on snow trips and beers haha
NBG they pay it back at such a small rate and only once you are over a certain salary.
Since Billy is a teacher, she probably isn’t making bucket-loads over than certain salary and therefore only pays back like 10-15% a year from the Hecs debt.
I didn’t go to uni but some of my mates that did are already making quite a bit more than me (not that I’m complaining at my wage lol). Some others that went to uni are making less as well
