Last time I was in Byron I was so close to making my first little edit (and learning how to actually do it) of a day trip canoeing with family… Then I ran out of time… Hahaha.

I used to listen to the song Chick Magnet quite a lot, among others!
We do theme nights at work. Like Halloween, casino and Bali beach parties etc…
Last night after talking the boss through what’s associated with setting up a projector he mentioned wanting to do a snow party in June/July and threw out all these wild ideas but ended with “but the expense will mean we won’t achieve that” or “I don’t think that’s even possible”.
(Boss used to own a Mexican restaurant in LJH in the late ‘90s and is a snow lover).
Within 20mins I had him frothing about setting up a mini rail jam and pulling together sponsors and getting an event lease for the park our doors open onto. So we can ship in a few tonn of ice/snow, crank up a snow machine and have a mini winter wonderland in the heart of Thirroul for one night. The area is easily barricaded at either end with a railway line on one side and 3 story building the other and we have a nightclub setting already operating (2am license). CitySnowEvents have their epic portable dry slope set up they hire out for a jib sesh.
His idea is to allow patrons to ride if they pay an additional entry fee. He also wants to dust off the skis.
With the amount of snow people in Wollongong their wont be a lack of patrons.
Now begins the planning and implementation of the concept.
NoteToSelf: we could get a live band as well as our standard DJ.

Keep your eyes open for a thread in this regard.
That sounds great spaz, best of luck working through all the logistics, I would think there will be times where you will feel like giving up, but it will be worth it at the end and hopefully make the boss some $$$

Just this morn I was thinking “what have I got myself into?” Will likely tame it back since it’s the first time then see what can be done in 2014.
