Stoked for another win against the insurance company!!
So you all know the story that it took 3mths to honor my claim. Then even thought I gave them everything they needed to complete the claim on the 20th Dec, the took for ever to settle and I didn’t actually get the cash in my bank til the 2nd Feb.
They only gave me the balance. The car was actually under finance so they had to pay the finance company direct. Fine, whatever, I understand that and just thought they were going to pay it the same day as me.
Well they didn’t!!!!!!
And on the 18th Feb another months’ direct debit came out for the loan - I looked into it and it as def the insurance companies fault and so i lodged another complaint. Told them there was no excuse as to why it took so long (and had had numerous arguments with mangers who could never give me an answer) and seeked 3 mths in interest in compensation.
I said if they did not honour my complaint I was going to the ombudsman AGAIN and pointed out I had won last time. hahaha
Today they emailed me that they would give me back the 3mths interest!
So I am getting $250 credited back into my acct! Woot Woot!
By the way in case anyone is not aware every time anyone complains to the ombudsman about a company the company gets a fine - this is before judgement is even decided.
So I think my second threat is why they paid me as the fine is probably larger than the $250 I was seeking.
(oh and cause it was paid out the day after the loan repayment got paid I am getting most of that too (besides the 3 weeks interest)
So today I am $500 richer than yesterday!!!

Stick it to them Oz!! That’s awesome news.. and ombudsmen are awesome!! ( I went through the telecommunications one.. over my Phone being broken and taking 6 weeks to get fixed and the staff at the Optus shop being so rude and not even willing to try to help.. ( the shop is a franchise so no on there cares… Optus customer service when I called was great). And the ombudsman sent me a new Phone on a Friday.. I had it Monday morning..)

I saw Paul Kelly and Neil Finn play together at the Sydney Olympics live site in Hyde Park. It was an absolute cracker of a concert!
That would have been awesome cords!!!! super jealous!
So stoked that City Snow Events are bringing the Snow Park back to Melbourne! 
They’re using PowderPak as the base this time so it we be heaps more cost effective for them to run and hopefully stay around permanently this time. 
They have pics up on FB and IG if you don’t use either watch this space and I’ll post a pic here when I get back to my computer.
