We Ride – The Story of Snowboarding
Just when I think I’ve searched out and viewed every bit of archival snowboarding footage on the internet, along comes something like this. So stoked.
Just grabbed all 3.6gb of it! Look forward to checking it out at some stage.
Same mate. Although I imagine a lot of that 1080p HD format will be wasted with all the archival footage.
Sweet movie.. Helps to see how far the sport has come and makes me excited to see where it’s headed..
The production quality is very second hand.
Most of the footage is NTSC(480) tape and even some VHS, there is also some film that’s been digitized.

Nooooooooooooo! REALLY?!?!?!
(please tell me you were joking)
Haha.. spaz why didn’t you invent hd video in the late 70’s so we could watch this all in 1080?? ( I kid I kid!!)
Awesome movie.. good to watch footage on the history of something that I’m so obsessed with..
Also full movie is on YouTube,

(I wont embed it, as the preview is there and im sure a lot of you will prefer download it.. if you guys would rather have it embedded, feel free to edit,)
I’m not old enough. Unless I invented it before I turned 8.
Hey chucky I’m not talking about the content. The content is excellent.
Hahah ok so spaz.. Lets say you needed to invented it in 1977.. You could have been a child genius?? Lol
I don’t think the issue is with HD video, everyone already wanted more pixels in their shots. The problem is the media that they use to make it. Cameras weren’t good enough and tapes don’t hold enough data.

Even by the 80’s (when I started playing with programing) i stuggled get a single pixel to change colour and move across the screen.
I would have been a child genius if I had invented it, but in the olden days freaks like that we’re burned in public ceremony.
