The Coal “Seem” Gas is doing my head in
hahaha, I’m such a spaz. How did no-one pick that up sooner?
Did my head in too, but I’m trying to learn to be a bit more tolerant, so I tried to ignore it!
One more post Cords = 4000!
i saw it from the start but i didnt say anything…no idea why. Normally im straight on that shit
Who’s else is currently studying at school, college or university? What are you studying?
Puts hand up.
*sigh*
After I hand in this assignment (due Monday) I’ve got 8 units left until I have my degree. I’m hoping to knock them all over in 18 months. This will seriously eat into time on snow this season though so I might push it out til the end of next year, will see how I feel about things in June.
Working full time and studying is hard work and I’m still trying to work out why I thought it would be a good idea to do a subject over summer.

Me two.
Eye sore it their and thought, “Your kidding me!” - but couldn’t think of a weigh too incorporate it into a joke. Oar sew it seams.
Thinking….thinking
I am going to start a Diploma of Graphic Design shortly when I have moved and setup. Going to do via correspondence only due to the fact I don’t live in a capital city and commuting 3 hrs a day is not my thing. I want to continue to work full time and study. It’s about 10hrs a week and can be done in a bit over a year.
Private courses are so expensive :(
Yeah, it wasn’t cheap. I figured it was a good investment in the long run. My course is 7 hours a week for a year. They expect at least 7 hours homework a week (no idea how I will fit that in haha). I’ve seriously been working 14 hour days this week (course included).

tough gig…
It’s well worth it in the end especially places like Shillington you will come out with a big smile on your face. They will push you hard to make some really good work.
I’m thinking of heading back to Uni next year. BA Media/Comm. is right up there as an option at the moment. Looking at doing a few graphic design units as well.
What do you want to major in your Comm course? I did Bachelor of Communication majoring in journalism, graduated in 2009, it’s a b*** of an industry to crack but worth it I guess because I’ll end up doing something I love for my job. I keep telling myself that.
Anyway I’m going back to school too! I’m going to UTS to study presentation and voice training for TV and radio. I’m looking forward to it, it’s kinda like a drama course so should be fun.
I’m at work today, in the worst mood ever, I’m stressing about my job and stuff. I bumped into one of the journos and he just told me that the live cross I did with Channel ten at the start of the skibum thing was a whole lot better than most of the live crosses we do here and I should show it to the head of news, I’m going to do that hopefully I can start getting some TV shifts soon.
Anyway it’s nice to be complimented when things don’t seem so rosy!
I don’t completely remember the live cross but I do recall thinking you did a good job (of course I was riddled with jealousy at the time) so you must have done a great job!
In drama you do a lot of voice training, it’s the number one skill and tool that actors use. Like any group of muscles it’s a matter of repetition, practice, technique and doing a good warm up/stretch before activity.. Presentation has much to do with confidence. I think you dominate in confidence judging from your escapades posted on fb.
Another, often overlooked skill, is doing a course in hair and makeup, maybe the course you doing will cover that.
Are you going to look at working with the new “youth” SBS2 Ash?
I heard about it on the radio this week, sounds like lots of opportunity there.
