Coal Seam Gas - Conspiracies behind Mining

I can’t comprehend that lifestyle or the mindset and or circumstances that result in such a lifestyle, I’m not saying it’s wrong but it is very foreign to me.  I do have some empathetic ability but I’m not sure where or how to start in order to walk a mile in your shoes so to speak.  What I do to realise (it took a long time) that people are most definitely wired differently at a basic level and you just have to accept that to a certain degree.

Anyway back to mining, this is going off on a tangent!

Yeah getting off tangent.
My lifestyle isn’t by choice.

What you said about the mining companies fast tracking CSG before restrictions are enforced by the gov is the first thing that raises concern for me.
But I’m still on side with CSG, I’m not convinced the risks are great enough that they would put these mines along a major Sydney waterway when there are many other area’s that would bring the same profit and less risk.

Don’t forget Spaz, it costs a lot less to mine close to Sydney then it does in rural areas, pick the low hanging fruit first!

and don’t forget, it’s the geology too. Haven’t worked on anything in the Sydney Basin for a number of years, but it’s similar to what’s happening in other sandstone coal measures on the Darling Downs west of Brisbane.
Used to have a lot to do with that stuff…back in the day….
