Landed my first 360 off a medium kicker in the whistler park today. The jump was a step up so it wasn’t so bad. Might try hit the rest of the mediums by the end of the week. I got it on film so i’ll upload to vimeo in a sec.
Sick mate! That the second one when the park splits left rails and right jumps?
I nearly broke my tail bone yesterday in Blackcomb park on the hip to step down. So today just cruised and didn’t try nothin. Keen to get threes done in Ye next few weeks good work!

Yeah mate that’s the one!
The video makes it look a lot smaller than it is.
Shit yeh!
Nice work man! That was pretty clean. I want to do a season on a mountain so bad.
Looked like you were doing mach 10 coming into it and then you slow down massively after you hit the kicker, the run in looked like you woulda landed in the flats! I know what you mean re looking a lot smaller on film, everything I have got always seems to feel huge and look pissant in comparison!

Yeah doing a season has taken my riding to a whole new level! You should just quit your job & become a ski-bum :D

Yeah the day before i was on my park board (Arbor westmark 159) & i was struggling to get the speed i needed for the kicker, so today i took out my new Capita BSOD 162 & its soooooo much quicker that i didn’t have to concentrate on my speed just my rotation.
Happy days
Nice, that jump looks super fun to try stuff on!
whoo hooo, I learnt nose blocks today. Well I landed about every 1 in 3 but its a start!
As usual I am not 100% certain that is the name of the trick but ill put up a pic in a bit.
nice one BB!! i was just starting to get flat land 180s down.. and the season ended // probably started landing every 2nd or 3rd.. gona work on ollies, butters and some more 180s etc next season.. and hit a few more jumps straight on.. (was hitting small lips and kickers just on the runs.. will hopefully progress to the park next season.. i rolled over heaps of the jumps at blue cow.. but thats cos i was filming and following the guys down..) got air a few times but not much..
Attempted my first backflip today in booterville. Didn’t land it but it still felt like just building up to throwing it was progression!
You’re 90% there. Looked like you came off your heels then into about 3/4 of a rodeo 5. Only 3/4 though which is why you landed all wrong. If you had have gone straight back (true bf) you would have landed easy. You have enough rotation easy. Kudos - pretty big for a first attempt.
Nice video! I agree a very commited first attemp.
Did you have a plan in terms of what flip you wanted to do. On this vid you’ve gone barrel roll style with a late frontside 180. That was the flip I did when I first tried them…
Choices include going for the pure barrel roll without the late 180, just keep your shoulders inline with the board when you throw it and as you flip.
Combining the barrel roll with the 180 so you do them more at the same time and you’ll come out switch, think about opeing the hips a bit more when you throw it.
Go for a cartwheel style backflip (wildcat), keep your body in line with the board and pop in a straight line sending your hips up and over your head, i find grabbing indy helps…
Anyways whatever you do try and video it, it’s awesome getting to watch people send it in this thread!!
