Surf Today
So what’s the go, are you guys keen to head over this side? Sunday the surf is likely to be fairly rubbish and small with winds from the south east. That pretty much says that these are the best options
Manly - sheltered but every man, dog, woman and child will be down there, surf is ok in terms of learning, not my pick.
Dee Why - Reasonably sheltered but still pretty busy, not quite as good as Manly in terms of learner surf,
Collarory/South Narrabeen - reasonably sheltered, usually small surf at Collaroy, decent beginners waves, Wicks Surf is across the road from Collaroy for boards if I can’t get them.
Warriewood - Reasonably sheltered, ok for learners and not as crowded as the others.
Palm Beach - Sheltered, reasonably busy but good learner waves, Manly surf school has another branch up there for a reason. Long drive for you guys but probably the nicest beach IMO.
Personally I would prefer Collaroy or Palmy but that’s up for discussion. Timing I don’t really care, get there anytime between 6am and 9am, works better that way to avoid traffic as well. Have a cafe brekky after if you’re keen.

Well I will leave the call on the exact beach a bit longer but 9am is a go. Lanox you can wear a wetsuit but the water is boardies temp. If you have a rashie or even an old tshirt that is tight (when its wet it obviously stretches) you can make do with that. Its what I use more for sun protection than anything else, with the soft learner boards they do cause rashes big time so a shirt will help with that.
i think i do have a rashie from bodyboarding days i will bring that…...

I have no idea where TJ’s is but from your place would probably see you at collaroy more like 9:15 depending on traffic. Let me know where TJ is at and text me when you pick him up and I can work it out from there.
