I get that “The Color Run” originated in the USA, but that’s no excuse for the organisers of a similar Australian event to misspell “colour”.

We were having coffee in Crown St, Darlo a few weekends ago when people started walking past all covered in splats of colour (on their way home) - we had no idea what was going on at the time.

It was on Sunday…

Apparently there was another inner-city one a while ago. It may have been called something different, but same concept I guess (the people walking past certainly looked the same).

Ahh ok, I must have missed it.

I’m wondering if this has been borrowed from India/Nepal.. their festival called “Holi” its a festival of colour, where they throw powdered paint etc..

( I work with quite a few Nepalese, and they are always telling me about their culture.. and I really liked the idea of this festival.. (it almost is my name.. and its basically a giant rainbow party… what more could I ask for? lol!!))

i did the melbourne coloUr run thing a few months back, was as rad as i thought it would be, too many people, and not enough colour being thrown around. And once all the colours had mixed, my shirt just turned a horrible khaki brown colour. Would be much funner being one of the colour chuckers i think.
