Hotham are in the planning stage for a new lift to go in, opening new terrain.
This season will see the introduction of the same ticketing system as Perisher
Bring it on I say !!!!
Did you watch the report? Specifically keen to hear what you have to say about it…
Tambo did, I was not paying that much attention, its lunchtime and I was eating
Looks interesting. It’s always good for us as snow enthusiasts for more terrain to be opened
Pretty mandatory viewing for all those with interest in the Alpine resorts. Interesting. Much more to say on this one…... but need to watch the P’s and Q’s with politics here….

Where would the new lift go, Azz? Sounds mighty fine to me.
Pee Gully, so it would have its unload near the top of Heavenly.
Imagine getting off Heavenly and heading straight ahead down there.
Opens a LOT of terrain

Never heard of it! But I like the sound of it! Is that the area off to the north of the Heavenly top ridge?
yeah, pretty much same area I was thinking, TJ, into that gully you can glimpse behind the top of the HV chair.
Just picked up correspondence saying that the resort endorses the plan… will get around to reading the nitty gritty soon….
so have a look at this video stuff from the Alpine Shire re planniing and bushfire overlays… “it’s not a house it’s a crib”... wonder what they are doing in the Alpine????
Alpine planning bushfire overlay
Sort of TJ, the road is too hard to cross there unless you are into big road gaps
If you look at the heavenly chair and follow its line up and over….......... see the knoll just above the Gotcha chair, that will all be lift access. Mostly blue terrain, but a few nice steep sections in there.
Oh, you gotta watch the vid in the link Tambo posted what the hell are the Alpine Shire thinking with that one
Yeh thats pretty stupid if you ask me!
