So. Every other forum has one.
And being a Boards forum, i’d would of expected this to be the same.

Maybe I just havnt found the right section yet?

Is there a Trade section of this Forum?

I know for a fact, I have things I could sell/dont need/swap/buy..

We don’t have a classifieds section. We do this to protect the industry that supports us.

We’ve decided not to have classifieds for a few reasons. Most importantly, right from the start we set out to help the industry and support retail stores. There’s so many other sites out there for buying second hand gear, we didn’t want to become a marketplace for grey market products. I’ve spoken to our sponsors and several retail stores, and the general consensus is they applaud our stance on grey market items and they would hate it if we allowed Boardworld to become a marketplace for such items. It’s a very sensitive issue in this industry. There are other reasons as well but that is the main one. We want all the business going through our industry to be legit (through authorised retailers etc.).

The sponsors also give away heaps of stuff through contests and promotions.

This all helps add to the feeling of a community and part of the BW family and is a great way make friends and others will be more inclined to help you.
